All Natural EcoSystems are interrelated, we know this at our very core, which is why our Natural World is so vital to our Existance. As a Barometer of Our Personal and Planetary Health, there are no measures more accurate, and indeed, acute than those we can witness simply by stepping outside into Nature.
The Mighty Oak, reverred since Ancient Times for it's Strength, Wisdom, and Beauty, is one such essential Totem. Even the act of walking amongst these Gentle Giants, as I photographed them, felt like a form of Worship to me, and I found MySelf transported to a Consciousness of Our Relationship to the Elemental Kingdom. Surely, The Mighty Oak is the GateKeeper to that powerfully Magical Realm ...
My Intention with My Inspirational Photography, is to be able to Capture, in some fashion, The Essence of The Divine in Nature. When we can enjoy these images so Resonant with Source, then we are also Aligning Our Own Bodily Systems to that Healing Vibration. I recall reading someplace, that Hospital Rooms decorated with images of the Natural Landscape, also benefited the Patient in the Healing Process, much like having a window facing a Garden will do.
I am reading Denise Linn's 'Feng Shui For The Soul' and synchronistically came across the subject of bringing images and objects from the Natural World into our Homes for Our Soul's Expression. Photographs are also mentioned as a powerful tool for Invoking the Elements in Our Personal Space, and how Our own Natural Life Force may be Increased in this way ...
The Oak is described as "the flower of the Druids" and the Acorn as "the cosmic egg, whence all life springs, and of immortality." (The Complete Floral Healer, 1996, Anne McIntyre, p.189)
So, some inner resting stuff there, what do YOU think?
